2020 Grads in the Post-Coronavirus, Post-Floyd World: Jobs or No Jobs, the World Needs You Now.

This is the commencement speech that 2020 grads didn’t get to hear, but need to. To all 2020 grads in the post-Coronavirus, Post-Floyd world: jobs or no jobs, the world needs you. There’s no time for graduation festivities–and I hope you are rested—because the world desperately needs you now!

This video is dedicated to George Floyd and the principles of equality, justice and compassion that our new 2020 grads represent.

2020 has proved pivotal–first with Coronavirus, and now with the agony over George Floyd’s murder. Instantly our world changes overnight, which shows that the time is ripe for change. It is time for re-envisioning the world we all want to emerge We need the fresh voices of young grads to lead the way to think out of the box to reimagine a better world for all. Although the economy looks dim for the moment, there’s plenty of work to be done to restore equality, humanity, and more!!

This video gives positive encouragement for new grads to follow their hearts, lift up their voices, and know that they are important and needed in these trying times.

This video was filmed prior to George Floyd’s death, and thus before the events after his death unfolded. However, it was edited the week after his death, so this video is dedicated not just to grads, but also to George Floyd and to all who stand for justice and equality, and who demand reform so that we can have a just and peace world.

This video was made by www. VirtuousWorld.org, a fledgling grassroots nonprofit from Hawaii that seeks to spark the conversation about how to transform our world into a kinder, more just, more compassionate world for people and the planet.

Racing 4 Light: former France LeMans Series race driver calls on teams to spread hope this season

Message from French European Series race car driver Remy Striebig:

Teams and Drivers,

Race car drivers race for the speed of light. So this year, let’s race TO BRING THE LIGHT. This year has been difficult for the nation and the world. This year, we are all in a new race, the race to rise above Coronavirus and conflict, and to restore unity and hope.

Let’s carry the torch of hope and spread light this race season by racing for a reason.

The highlight for me was racing in the European Series Le Mans race in 2016. If I was racing at Le Mans this year, I would dedicate my race to all those hit hardest by the Coronavirus pandemic, and to restoring compassion to our communities.

Simply dedicate your races to someone or something that needs hope. Sign on at VirtuousWorld.org and/or Twitter @Racing4Light.

Fans, let us know on Twitter if you need hope–and what you would race for.

Let’s lead the way for racers of all sports to do the same. Together, we can restore hope!

Remy Streibig

Coronavirus Lesson2: Hidden Miracles in Plain Sight Prove Anything is Possible–& Hawaiian lemonade!

A Coronavirus morale boost for those of us who are stuck inside the house: hopeful mini-miracles are unfolding, giving hope that we can transform our world for the better if we want. Plus an immune boost from our Hawaii backyards: we’re making “lemonade from lemons” (literally!)–healthy anti-inflammatory Hawaiian lemonade.

This is the second video in a Coronavirus series from VirtuousWorld.org, in which we explore the lessons of Coronavirus and the insights for how to make our world and lives better.

VirtuousWorld.org seeks to ignite the human spirit by rekindling the core virtues of our humanity, to open our hearts to re-imagining our world–into a compassionate world, in which we each matter and all of us thrive. Together, let’s begin to imagine a better world for both people and the planet.

Lessons of Coronavirus (#1): Baby Whale Reveals Most Important Meaning of the Pandemic—Compassion

Coronavirus offers surprising hope for how we can transform our world for the better–if we learn its lessons. The most important lesson: the real reason we are all staying home during Coronavirus can revolutionize the world for the better.
